You wanted Doctor Who to have its own section? You got it! But that's not all; all of our geeky sites are moving out of Memebase and into Geek Universe! On Tuesday, July 9th, Superheroes, My Little Brony, and Pokémemes are joining four new sites as a part of our new Geek Universe cluster: Doctor Who, Cartoons & Anime, Video Game Coverage, and Geek Life. Don't worry, Superheroes, MLB, and Pokémemes aren't merging, just moving. They'll still be separate sites, housed under Geek Universe instead of Memebase.

Doctor Who will cover all things Whovian, from show news to fan art, and everything in between.

Cartoons & Anime will feature all things animated. Mathematical! Now there's a fire in my belly.

Video game memes will still live on Memebase, but for news, trailers, and gamer geekery, check out Video Game Coverage.

Geek Life is dedicated to all things cosplay, plus convention coverage, fun geeky products, fandom foods, DIY projects, and everything else related to the geek lifestyle.

Last but not least, fear not friends, Fandom isn't closing; it's expanding to become Geek Universe. This new home will feature best of the above plus news, fan art, and fun from around Geekdom. Are you excited for Geek Universe? What other shows/movies/fandoms would you like to see get their own section? We'll be here to answer your questions in the comments, so let us know below!

Wii U won't get Project Cars because it's too much for the hardware

Sorry Wii U racing fans, you'll have to stick with Mario Kart for now.

IGN is reporting that Project CARS for the Wii U is cancelled.

Slightly Mad Studios boss Ian Bell put out a press release to explain:

Despite much perseverance on the Wii U version of Project CARS we will no longer be actively pursuing development on it as the quality does not meet our own high standards nor our intended vision for the title on this platform. We eagerly look forward to any announcement of further hardware from Nintendo but right now Project CARS is simply too much for Wii U despite our very best efforts. Apologies to our Nintendo fans out there that have been waiting for further news on this but have no desire to release a product that isn't at the very least comparable with our highest-rated versions on other platforms. We optimistically look forward therefore to what the future may hold.

In an interview with Nintendo Life Bell said it a little clearer.

"The official line is that we're awaiting an announcement from Nintendo on new hardware," he said. "As of now pCARS is simply too much for the Wii U."

Sounds like they, as well as many other third party developers, are waiting to see if the announced NX console will be able to better to handle modern standards.

10 Questions We Still Have About Fallout 4 Before E3

Magnificent. Superlative. Droolworthy.

These are just a few adjectives that described Bethesda's pre-E3 reveal trailer for Fallout 4. The trailer sent the hype train into orbit, and was jam-packed with little hints and easter eggs that needed a trained eye to catch, and it left us with a bevy of questions before the big show kicks off.
