You wanted Doctor Who to have its own section? You got it! But that's not all; all of our geeky sites are moving out of Memebase and into Geek Universe! On Tuesday, July 9th, Superheroes, My Little Brony, and Pokémemes are joining four new sites as a part of our new Geek Universe cluster: Doctor Who, Cartoons & Anime, Video Game Coverage, and Geek Life. Don't worry, Superheroes, MLB, and Pokémemes aren't merging, just moving. They'll still be separate sites, housed under Geek Universe instead of Memebase.

Doctor Who will cover all things Whovian, from show news to fan art, and everything in between.

Cartoons & Anime will feature all things animated. Mathematical! Now there's a fire in my belly.

Video game memes will still live on Memebase, but for news, trailers, and gamer geekery, check out Video Game Coverage.

Geek Life is dedicated to all things cosplay, plus convention coverage, fun geeky products, fandom foods, DIY projects, and everything else related to the geek lifestyle.

Last but not least, fear not friends, Fandom isn't closing; it's expanding to become Geek Universe. This new home will feature best of the above plus news, fan art, and fun from around Geekdom. Are you excited for Geek Universe? What other shows/movies/fandoms would you like to see get their own section? We'll be here to answer your questions in the comments, so let us know below!

You can add Borderlands to the list of video game properties that will be turned into movies that you maybe will see, but really don't need.

Lionsgate announced Aug. 28 that they would develop the games series into a 'tentpole' movie, would means they probably have a few ideas for all the ways they want to fool with the loot-based first person shooter.

According to Variety:

"Part of our strategy in entering the game space under Peter Levin has been to source new brands with built-in audiences that will translate into great films and television shows," said Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Co-Chairs Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger. "The 'Borderlands' games don't pull any punches, and we'll make the movie with the same in-your-face attitude that has made the series a blockbuster mega-franchise."

Friday's announcement comes less than three months before Lionsgate opens its fourth and final film in its highly successful "Hunger Games" franchise, which has grossed $2.3 billion at the worldwide box office. The studio's Summit label generated $3.3 billion from its five-film "Twilight Saga." And it has grossed more than $550 million from the first two films in its four-film "Divergent Series."

You can put this one up there with The Last of Us and Assassin's Creed as movies we're mildly interested in, but never asked for.

Oklahoma City school teacher, Stephanie Stephens really knew how to welcome her students, her entire classroom is Harry Potter themed. Focusing on things from The Sorcerer's Stone, Stephens will be making the entire school year as magical as Hogwarts for her eighth-grade special needs class. Just like Harry, Ron and Hermione, her class will earn points for each of their respective 'Houses'.

"Once the house points jar fills up they get a class reward. My students mean the world to me and I hope my enthusiasm for reading will transfer to each and every one of my kids."

Keep your fingers crossed for Hufflepuff. They deserve a win.
