Kevin Doyle walked to Comic Con this year, all the way from his home in Petaluma, CA which is over 500 miles north of San Diego. To give you an idea, take a look at the Google Map:

Not only did Kevin walk around 600 miles to SDCC, he did it in full Stormtrooper armor:

He made this journey for his wife, Eileen who tragically passed from pancreatic cancer in 2012 at the age of 45. For Kevin, this walk is a way to celebrate and mourn the loss of his wife, keep a promise and raise money for a charity he's created in her honor. Called Eileen's Little Angels, the charity provides gifts to children going through chemotherapy.

Kevin officially finished his journey Thursday, July 9th, but you can always help out his cause by donating here.

Normally, we're used to seeing the Magic Mike side of Channing Tatum, and no one's complaining.

But it's easy to forget that he's also a good guy. While promoting his passion project at Comic-Con, a solo superhero flick about Gambit, the 21 Jump Street star rushed to help veteran nerd hero, Stan Lee off the stage after taking an awesome selfie.

Way to go Channing, those Southern manners are going to come in handy when you start shooting Gambit.

No, the former Firefly star isn't a grifter, he's just an actor who's tired of making his living by going to conventions to support a show that was canceled a decade ago. If that's not meta enough, the trailer also features Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres, Joss Whedon and Sean Maher.

In fact you should get mad points if you can name all of the nerdy cameos.

DC's Movie and TV Costumes Make an Appearance At SDCC 2015

With Marvel skipping San Diego comic Con this year, it's a prefect opportunity for DC to come in a seal up the promotional power of the four-day convention. As part of their strategy, Warner Bros and DC brought a gigantic amount of costumes from both their television and movie arms.

There's no Supergirl on display, but that's probably because Melissa Benoist is still rocking it on set. Here's everything from The Flash, Arrow, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Plus, there's that surprise cameo right at the end of the trailer:
