The CW's newest DC heroes starring in the spin-off series Legends of Tomorrow have finally been revealed. The avatars of the Egyptian god, Horus, Hawkman and Hawkgirl are destined to reincarnate through out history.

As regular members of the Justice League, these two will be joining DC's already established television heroes Arrow, The Flash, Firestorm, ATOM and Black Canary sometime in 2016.

Rumors of a solo Hawkgirl spinoff show have been floating around the internet, but Hawkgirl actress Ciara Renée has confirmed via Twitter that no such show exists. Who knows though, maybe the network will consider it after seeing how excited we all got!

The CW is becoming the de facto home for everything DC comics. In addition to Arrow and The Flash coming back in September, it appears the network is working on a third series, Hawkgirl starring Ciara Renee.

Hawkgirl appeared in the season finale of The Flash this year, and will also be starring in the upcoming crossover series, Legends of Tomorrow.

The CW's newest expansion to The Flash/Arrow universe is getting two new cast members. Joining Brandon Routh's Atom and Caity Lotz as a resurrected Black Canary (maybe!?), are Hawkgirl and Rip Hunter.

Hunter, who will simply be known as 'The Traveler', is a time traveling adventurer on a secret mission. Played by Timey-Wimey Doctor Who veteran, Arthur Darvill. Hunter is described as

a Han Solo-esque rogue who gets by with his charm... His razor-sharp wit hides the pain of a man who has lived through serious conflict. He also harbors many secrets, always leaving both his teammates and the audience unsure of his true allegiances.
Hawkgirl will be played by Broadway performer, Ciara Renée. The question remains on what origin they'll choose for the series. Will Renée play a character with the reincarnated soul of generations of Hawkgirls, or will The CW choose to go the New 52 route and make her a science experiment?
