The coding that hints at the prospect of Niantic soon introducing buddy Pokémon that follow your avatar around, was first noticed in a github depository, which uploaded all of Pokémon GO's data from newest update.

The coding shows off three different possibilities for how 'buddy Pokémon' will appear on-screen:

-Perched on player's shoulder
-Flying next to player
-Walking behind player (could be tied in to the height/weight measurements previously discovered in Pokémon GO data mine

Would be pretty cool to see Niantic implement a feature that's available in other Pokémon games (Pokémon Yellow, HeartGold/SoulSilver). Can you imagine walking round town with a Zapdos as your 'buddy Pokémon' though?...

So much yes.

Jimmy Derocher wanted to prove to everyone out there that was saying it was impossible to get one million XP in a day, wrong...unfortunately, Niantic wasn't so down for the occasion. Derocher went ahead and put together a special walking plan for his goal as well:

“We place[d] in-game lures on 10 Pokestops in a 0.2 mile loop, which we [planned to] walk over and over,” Derocher said. “People casually call it ‘Jimmy’s loop.’”

Derocher even tried reaching out to Niantic before taking on the challenge, asking them if he could be 'whitelisted.'

Even though Derocher did end up getting softbanned he was still able to raise a decent enough amount of money for charity.

“I logged 25 miles using the app Charity Miles, and we’ll be able to donate $50-60 to charity thanks to stream donations,” Derocher said. “[But] we easily could’ve seen 1.5x that mileage and 5-10x the charity donations given...a full stream.”

Mewtwo has no official special moves in Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS, but you can hackily achieve them through the use of Miis.  In order to do it, you have to download a Mii not created on your system, then select it for play, deselect it, and select Mewtwo.  Mewtwo inherits that Mii's custom moves, but since this isn't supposed to happen things get pretty glitchy.

Here is a brief glimpse of the new Pikachu game in development courtesy of NHK. This episode of The Professional will be broadcasted in Japan on October 28.

In the clip, you can see Ishihara saying that filming isn't allowed—and then, the announcer says, "This is the first time cameras have gotten in." You can see the Pokémon Company staffers work on its "super secret game," which stars Pikachu and looks to be a 3DS title.

Now continue to watch Pikachu maniacally laugh.
