At Comic Palooza in Houston, fans got two classic Doctors, Peter Davison (5th) and Colin Baker (6th) to do recitations from some popular episodes of new Who. What resulted is just fantastic.
It just proves the old adage "Once the Doctor, always the Doctor". Now we need Sylvester McCoy to shout "Just this once, everyone lives!"
At The Newcastle Film and Comic Con, Sylvester McCoy (The 7th Doctor) said he'd heard who would be playing renegade Timelord, The Master in the upcoming series and that it would be "quite scary".
Rumors suggest that Game of Thrones villain, Charles Dance is a front runner for the role, but the Who camp is being very tight lipped.
The last time we saw The Master, he was John Simm and he was stepping through a portal into a potentially time-locked Gallifrey. Does this confirmation of his appearance in Series 8 mean the return of the Timelords?
In a convention Q&A on Valentine's Day, Karen Gillan discussed her final moments shooting with Matt Smith and Arthur Darvill:
I remember the last thing we shot was in the episode The Power of Three... iIt was just like a normal shot of us looking outwards, outside the TARDIS, and we had to one-by-one go inside the TARDIS. So it became this really symbolic moment where Arthur went in, I went in and then Matt went in, and they shouted "cut" for the very last time. And we all just like hugged in the dark in the TARDIS. It was like such a beautiful moment, actually.Wipe away those tears and check out the full panel below:
