Totaka's Song is a classic Nintendo easter egg that appears in games sound director/composer Kazumi Totaka has worked on for the last 25 years. He also provides the voice for Yoshi, so in this case, he's singing his own tune! Check out other games the song has appeared in here:
Nintendo's latest awesome Easter Egg will keep you busy for hours, even if you don't have a game to play on your New 3DS. Opening the web browser and tapping out the first six notes of the Super Mario Bros theme unlocks a game that lets you destroy bricks of a URL of your choice. See it in action in the video above.
Who the hell is Lauren, you ask? Lauren is the wife of one of the developers of the game, who happens to be born on Christmas. The hunt for this Easter Egg began after a developer revealed there was "one Easter egg in Halo 3 that I don't think anyone has found – I stumbled across it in code a while back. It only happens on a specific day…so good luck" (Bungie Mail Sack). YouTuber Lord Zedd set his console's date to Christmas and discovered this sweet message.
