Here's the developer, Nate's description of the game:

Pokémon Apex is developed with an adult Pokémon fan in mind. The game contains some adult dialogue (some swearing) and themes (death, abandonment), and some minor horror elements. Furthermore, the game is intended to be somewhat difficult, meaning that you will need to think about your strategies and make conscientious choices about your team in order to progress. Playing through the game haphazardly will get you into trouble.

Also, this game is for people who prefer to take their time in games to explore their environment and uncover hidden details. There are lots of small details hidden throughout the game, as well as secret areas and items that reward meticulous players.

The game's still in development, but you can download it over here to try it out!

Gamer hodilton simply outdid himself with his The Last of Us-inspired Fallout 4 mod here. Granted, some folks might take issue with the fact this kind of mod actively conflicts with the typically barren, desert-like wasteland in that of Fallout's apocalyptic wasteland; but honestly, can't we just appreciate an effort to combine elements from two great games?

What you see above is a mod showcased by Super Mega Buster 123 Win64 Gigabyte, and actually created by KevintheH. The mod swaps Ryu's model with Goku textures. See video below:

Impressively enough the mod's only in 'beta', but already manages to sound much like Goku. This isn't the first display of effective character swap mods. In the past we've seen the likes of Samus and Captain Falcon swapped for Iron Man and Captain America.

For the sake of full disclosure, this is the most beautiful news I've seen all day today. I've been a committed fan to both Fire Emblem and XCOM since I was a lil rugrat catching that impressively long, epic Sacred Stones epilogue while the rest of the fam was doing things like eating dinner together.

I only ever dreamt we'd wake up in a world one day where a game might merge favorable elements from each differing game. This game is it, man, and all thanks to mods. The description reads:

“This mod puts a dash of Fire Emblem into your XCOM, leveraging a ‘squadmate score’ system to give small buffs for squads that trust in each other.”
