Given what a sex symbol Carrie Fisher became after the original Star Wars trilogy, General Leia's body has been a hot topic of conversation during the press tour for Star Wars VII. After countless headlines about her 35 lb weight loss for the film, and an internet full of lively discussions about whether or not she's "held up" over the years, Fisher has had it.

The actress and dog-mom to Gary the French Bulldog took to Twitter to ask people to stop debating how well or not she's aged because it hurts all three of her feelings. All three of them! Can we do her this solid, folks?

Carrie Fisher shared this image of her posing with a giant wax Jabba the Hutt. She also brought her adorable dog with her as protection. Clearly she's not over the gold bikini he made her wear, even though killing Jabba looks like it was pretty cathartic.

This image features Carrie Fisher in 2011 compared to now after losing over 35 pounds the newest Star Wars Movie. Fisher told Good Housekeeping UK that she felt pressured to lose the weight in order to reprise her role as Princess (now General) Leia Organa.

In the interview she expressed dissapointment that after 38 years, Hollywood is still appearance obsessed, particularily when it comes to slimming down female actresses and maybe she has a point. Princess Leia, a badass in her own right (see video below if you need proof), is more often remembered for her sex symbol status in the iconic "Slave Leia" gold bikini.

Belfast Telegraph reported that Carrie Fisher recently said an interview that she, along with Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill, are all expected to report to work in March or April for their continued roles in the upcoming addition to the Star Wars series.
Fisher said in the interview that she's looking forward to returning to her role as princess Leia. "I'd like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again - but with white hair," she said. "I think that would be funny."

This isn't the first we've heard of Fisher reprising her role as Princess Leia, but it's the closest to real confirmation we've gotten so far.
