The reboot of Marvel's first family, Fantastic Four just came to theaters, but things aren't looking that good. With a mere 10% ratings score on RottenTomatoes, it's shaping up to be one of the worst movies of the year, and maybe one of the worst superhero movies ever. Currently, it's hanging around the same ratings as Elektra and Catwoman, which is not good company.

To give you any idea of how bad it is, here are 10 movies that are slightly better rated.

After Hellboy himself tweeted about wanting to do Hellboy 3, nobody can stop talking to Ron Perlman about it.  This time, he revealed to Variety that he hears from Guillermo del Toro "intermittently" and that he believes del Toro has the story figured out:

It’s in Guillermo’s head. And he’s shared enough of it with me to know that it will be mind-blowing. I mean it will be mind-blowing. It will be great cinema. And if you are somebody who followed the first two movies, it will be even more mind-blowing because we have something… if you liked the first one and the second one, we have something really rock ’em, shock ’em in the third one.

I swear to everything Ron Perlman, if you're exaggerating, I won't stand for it.  This sounds way too good to be true.

Remember when Sean Connery turned down Lord of the Rings to be the lead in a horrible adaptaion of Alan Moore's graphic novel The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen? The movie flopped so hard, Connery chose to retire from acting altogether, and now fox wants to give it another go.

League follows a group of characters famous from 19th Century British sci-fi/fantasy novels as they team up to take on the most villainous threats. Alan Quartermain, The Invisible Man, Captain Nemo, Doctor Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, and a full vampire version of Mina Harker round out the cast.

Fox tried to produce a TV series in 2013, but it never went beyond the pilot. While it feels like they're just hoping to hold onto the movie rights a little bit longer, let's hope Fox can make something decent from the property this time around.
