Variety reports that Legendary Entertainment locked down the rights to what could be a massive franchise, subsequent to reported accounts that they were trying to close the deal. Details are pretty hush right now, but we've heard whispers that the studio's nudging for the film to kickstart in 2017. Oh, and we're talking Detective Pikachu for the 'theme'. For those that don't remember, here's a quick reminder that, yes, Detective Pikachu, is the hero you deserve:

Peach John, a Japanese clothing/lingerie retailer might've had the best of intentions when they hit the drawing board to brainstorm a Pokémon-dedicated lingerie line; but the final result just, well, it just feels wrong. You can almost hear the masked cries of multiple Pikachus ring out from that eerie pic of the lingerie on display.

Apparently this collection also contains a bathrobe (with the Pikachu-faced hood), and a Poké Ball beauty case (kind of awesome tbh).

First you've got Rowlet. This starter Grass Quill Pokémon can launch a soundless attack, and twist its neck at around 180 degrees to peer behind itself.

Next you've got Litten. A fire cat Pokémon that can attack with, wait, wait for it, flaming hairballs!

Lastly, you have Popplio, the Sea Lion Pokémon.
