After a disappointing performance compared to the previous Days of Future Past FOX might be ready to mash the reset button, just like your little brother did when he was losing in Mario Kart 64.

The mediocre reception of the film coincides with the expiration of the contracts of Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, and Nicholas Hoult, all the biggest stars of of the franchise. The films' director Brian Singer has also departed the franchise for other projects, leaving the series in even greater flux.

If we're being honest, we wish that FOX would just admit defeat and sell off the rights so that the Marvel Cinematic Universe can fill that X-Men sized hole in it.

Beyonce dressed as Storm for Ciara's birthday party. As with anything else she pulled off the costume flawlessly but someone on the internet didn't see it that way.

Even Beyonce can't escape internet hate these days.

Someone call Fox. Hugh Jackman may be done playing Wolverine after his next movie, but that doesn't mean the fun needs to stop. In his free time, artist Randy Bishop likes to doodle the X-Men, and his cutesy style is almost a dead ringer for the animated action flicks of the late 90's (Iron Giant, Treasure Planet).

Sony is doubling down on Spider-Man making both a new live-action and animated film franchise... Why not, X-Men?

French actress Léa Seydoux from Blue is the Warmest Color and the upcoming 24th James Bond pic, Spectre, is reported to have been offered the female lead in Fox's upcoming Gambit solo film. Something of a passion project for Channing Tatum, the actor has been attached to star since the movie was nothing more than a rumor floating around Hollywood.

Léa will reportedly be playing Bella Donna Boudreaux, the daughter of the leader of a New Orleans' assassin's guild, and Gambit's first love. The two are married to unite her father's guild and the theives' guild to which Gambit belongs. Things quickly turn south and after the nuptials the card throwing cajun must flee.

Bella Donna, of course, has her own mutant powers similar to Gambit's, plasma blasts. Will she be an aide to or antagonist of Tatum's anti-hero? The best bet is on a little of both.

We'll see how Channing's cajun accent compares to the natural accent of the French actress. If she accepts the role, this movie could sound weirder than Costner's Robin Hood.
