On Sunday morning Anton Yelchin's Jeep rolled down his driveway, pinning then crushing him against a brick post outside of his house in Los Angeles, California. It just so happens the car that caused this horrific fatality was a 2015 Grand Cherokee, and among over one million more cars/SUVs filed for recall by Fiat Chrysler.

More than 100 crashes have been reported to date, due to gear selector problems that can confuse drivers about whether their cars are in park or not.

About a week ago, Meszaros was found unresponsive in his apartment in Los Angeles. Meszaros stood at a famously (dubbed 'smallest man in the world') petite 2 feet 9 inches tall, and he was discovered performing in a traveling circus before making his debut on television as Alf the alien in a famous '80s sitcom.

He put on performances for some of the world's most widely recognized and hailed figures such as Michael Jackson (who went on to become a dear friend), Jimmy Carter, and Ronald Reagan.

In the 1980's the city of Hawthorne, California named their shortest street 'Michu Lane' in commemoration of the performer. Rest in peace Michu Meszaros, you'll be missed. And now, a nice compilation of some of Alf's greatest moments:

Makiko Futaki was an invaluable creative resource, and instrumental in almost every work done by Studio Ghibli, where she started up in 1981. Her last film for the studio was, When Marnie Was There

Futaki was the go to animator on Princess Mononoke, and also worked closely on Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro. Futaki was a true visionary, an unrivaled talent, and a godsend for the anime industry as a whole, may she rest in peace.

Burt Kwouk's agent issued the following statement: "Beloved actor Burt Kwouk has sadly passed peacefully away. The family will be having a private funeral but there will be a memorial at a later date." Kwouk is survived by his wife Caroline Tebbs, who he married in 1961 and his son.

Kwouk famously played Mr. Ling in Goldfinger, and Spectre 3 in You Only Live Twice, as well as a Chinese genearl in the 1967 spoof Casino Royale. But now to bring it back to one of his greatest, most acclaimed moments of all time in Pink Panther between Cato (himself) and Chief Inspector Clouseau (Peter Sellers):

Rest in peace Mr. Kwouk, you were a tremendous talent and a true gift to the film/television industry!
