"Brewvies Cinema Pub in Salt Lake City is looking at the devastating prospect of having to pay a fine ranging between $1,000 and $25,000, or face getting their liquor license revoked. Apparently, in Utah, there is incredibly lame law that prohibits the showing of nudity, sex acts and alcohol in one spot. So after two undercover Salt Lake City cops FINALLY saw the film, they proceeded to smack it with a fiery report heavily weighted in disapproval. And we quote from the 'report':

"The main character (male) in the film is shown numerous times engaging in acts or simulated acts of sexual intercourse with the female counterpart during a holiday themed sex-montage," wrote Agent Bradley Bullock.

"An example of this is during 'International Women's Day' Vanessa looks to be sodomizing Wade in their bed," Agent Sean Cannon wrote in another report. "Later in the movie, Wade gets into a fight with another character - Ajax played by Ed Skrein. During the fight, Wade's clothing comes off. Wade shows full frontal nudity during the fight scene."

Deadpool Director Tim Miller said during the Deadpool Blu-Ray release event that he and producer Simon Kinberg “have been trying to build bridge", between the two respective franchises.

Kinberg went on to say, "with all of the deals that have recently started happening, we asked if they could get visitation rights to Sony‘s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man,” Kinberg added, laughing, “I would love to see it. Both of us are close with [Marvel’s] Kevin [Feige], we respect and love Kevin. If it were even remotely possible, we will find a way ’cause we’d would love to see it.”

Fox announced the entire original cast will be back. Phew. Cause we wouldn't have it any other way. Any speculations on who will ultimately be cast as Cable in the Deadpool sequel?

Deadpool Director, Tim Miller looks like he's slated to have the chance to make the long awaited (six years+) film adaptation of the Dark Horse comic, The Goon largely thanks to the worldwide success of the ever profane, vaguely insane Deadpool movie ($754 global box office coinage, and counting).

Miller chatted with Collider about about the status of The Goon and its connection to the success of Deadpool:

“If Deadpool shined any light in the direction of the studio, we wanna use some of that light to shine it on Goon. So we’ve been doing a lot of work lately, we did some voiceover last week. I do think that there is a corollary. Deadpool proves it, in a big way, that there is a market for this stuff out there…Goon is very much an action—it’s got a lot of heart, it’s got a lot of comedy, it’s got a lot of similarities to what I think was successful in Deadpool, and so I think it’s not a stretch to compare those two things and say the world is a little more ready than they used to be for this kind of material. In the past, there’s reasons why The Goon wasn’t made, it’s because people were afraid of edgy animation. Now I think that Deadpool has proved that that audience is out there in a bigger way than some people thought.”
